5 Benefits

From boosting their confidence to improving their health, there’s so much more to harness training than meets the eye.

1

Improved Health

Physical activity helps manage weight, reducing the risk of obesity-related issues like diabetes and heart disease. It keeps joints flexible and muscles strong, which is especially important for aging cats or those prone to arthritis. Walking also supports better heart health by improving circulation and can even aid digestion. Beyond physical benefits, exploring the outdoors can reduce stress, leading to a healthier and more balanced life for your feline friend.

3

Encourages Natural Instincts

Harness training allows your cat to engage in natural behaviors like scratching, hunting, and climbing in a controlled environment. Outdoor walks provide opportunities for scratching to maintain their claws, stalking and pouncing to satisfy their hunting instincts, and climbing to survey their surroundings—all essential activities for their physical and mental well-being.

4

Enrichment & Mental Stimulation

Exploring the outdoors introduces your cat to new sights, sounds, and smells that keep their mind sharp and engaged. Harness walks provide the mental stimulation indoor cats often miss, reducing boredom and improving overall well-being.

FAQ

How long does it take to train my cat?

Generally, this process can take several days to a few weeks. Begin by introducing the harness indoors, allowing your cat to wear it during regular activities to become accustomed to its feel. Once your cat moves comfortably with the harness, attach the leash and let them drag it indoors, gradually introducing gentle guidance. When your cat exhibits confidence and ease with the harness and leash indoors, you can consider short outdoor sessions, always ensuring the experience remains positive and stress-free.

What if my cat doesn't like it?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you’re not completely satisfied with your harness. Simply contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll be happy to assist with the return process. Please note, return fees will be deducted from the refund.

How do I know what size to get?

We recommend measuring your cat’s neck and chest girth to find the perfect fit.

XXSmall: Neck girth: 8.27-10” chest girth: 10-14” (Best for young adult kittens)

XSmall: 9.45-11” chest girth: 14.5-18” (Best for adult cats)

Small: Neck girth: 9.8-17” chest girth: 16-22” (Best for adult cats)

Will my cat be able to escape the harness?

Most cats escape from the front neck portion of harnesses. Our harness is designed to add pull and pressure from the back, leaving the front secure. If sized, fitted, and trained properly your cat won’t be able to slip out, giving you peace of mind on all your adventures.
