The harness rings are solid with good stitching to keep them secure.The front harness ring for walk control is a little low hitting my pups leg. It is well made and constructed with a strong material. It wraps right around my little girl like a glove. She has a little barrel chest and a short neck, so I only like harnesses that do not hug her neck to tightly. This harness sits on her chest area, not her neck. It has d-rings to attach a leash on the back and on the front of the chest. My only point of concern for a buyer would be that this harness offers little room for size adjustment. This harness is a step-in and then it wraps around the back and has a velcro closure. Then there are two straps on either side that connect over the velcro closure for leash attachment. The straps are adjustable but the velcro area offers little room for adjustment. This is one of those harnesses that will either fit or not.For my kiddo, it is perfect. I ordered extra small, XS, for my slender but tall Chihuahua. The comfort padding made it look bigger until I put it on my pup. I was pleasantly surprised when it was a perfect fit.The harness itself seems to have a 1/2 inch leash-like strip running through it. This allows adjustment tighter or looser as needed so I'm not relying simply on the velcro over the shoulder blades to keep my dog in harness. (She has slipped out of those!)I think the best thing is the plastic snap over the shoulders that connect the two strap sides of the harness. As I'm getting older it is harder to use those tiny plastic catches. This one was plenty wide enough for my fingers without sitting harshly on her small shoulders. I have no trouble getting it unsnapped or snapped.After only a short time my Chi was able to lay down in her favorite bed without being bothered by wearing the harness. My dog seems more comfortable in this compared to some heavier harnesses we’ve tried before.The D-ring feels solid, the stitching looks strong, and the overall design feels thoughtfully made. It’s very easy to clip the leash on and head out for a walk.After using it for a bit, this has become our go-to harness for everyday walks. It has d-rings to attach a leash on the back and on the front of the chest. My only point of concern for a buyer would be that this harness offers little room for size adjustment. This harness is a step-in and then it wraps around the back and has a velcro closure. Then there are two straps on either side that connect over the velcro closure for leash attachment. The straps are adjustable but the velcro area offers little room for adjustment. This is one of those harnesses that will either fit or not.For my kiddo, it is perfect. I ordered extra small, XS, for my slender but tall Chihuahua. The comfort padding made it look bigger until I put it on my pup. I was pleasantly surprised when it was a perfect fit.The harness itself seems to have a 1/2 inch leash-like strip running through it. This allows adjustment tighter or looser as needed so I'm not relying simply on the velcro over the shoulder blades to keep my dog in harness. (She has slipped out of those!)I think the best thing is the plastic snap over the shoulders that connect the two strap sides of the harness. As I'm getting older it is harder to use those tiny plastic catches. This one was plenty wide enough for my fingers without sitting harshly on her small shoulders. I have no trouble getting it unsnapped or snapped.After only a short time my Chi was able to lay down in her favorite bed without being bothered by wearing the harness. If all are like this I imagine on a short hair dog it would feel like pokey. The photo shows the harness at its longest extended length and the fabric is squished. It has d-rings to attach a leash on the back and on the front of the chest. My only point of concern for a buyer would be that this harness offers little room for size adjustment. This harness is a step-in and then it wraps around the back and has a velcro closure. Then there are two straps on either side that connect over the velcro closure for leash attachment. The straps are adjustable but the velcro area offers little room for adjustment. This is one of those harnesses that will either fit or not.For my kiddo, it is perfect. I ordered extra small, XS, for my slender but tall Chihuahua. The comfort padding made it look bigger until I put it on my pup. I was pleasantly surprised when it was a perfect fit.The harness itself seems to have a 1/2 inch leash-like strip running through it. This allows adjustment tighter or looser as needed so I'm not relying simply on the velcro over the shoulder blades to keep my dog in harness. (She has slipped out of those!)I think the best thing is the plastic snap over the shoulders that connect the two strap sides of the harness. As I'm getting older it is harder to use those tiny plastic catches. This one was plenty wide enough for my fingers without sitting harshly on her small shoulders. I have no trouble getting it unsnapped or snapped.After only a short time my Chi was able to lay down in her favorite bed without being bothered by wearing the harness.
